Mabo is an experienced Reggio Emilia inspired Early Childhood Educator. 12 years, he studied about Reggio Emilia Approach in several different countries: Japan, USA and Italy. He is a Japanese who is a Hong Kong Qualified Kindergarten Teacher (QKT), a certified child development teacher and a child development site supervisor in California, USA. Currently, he is taking a Hong Kong Kindergarten Principal Certificate Course at Baptist University.

Last 3 years, he’s been working for Hong Kong Reggio Emilia Study Group and trying to establish Hong Kong Reggio Emilia Association.

He received his B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University and worked in Reggio Emilia inspired preschools, playgroups & children’s museum in California.

Also, he is a father of 3: 10y, 5y and 1y. So, he understands children from teachers‘ point of view and parents’ point of view. He loves fishing. He is an active member of 香港毛鉤倶楽部 (Hong Kong Fly Fishing Club).

Jessica has a dual BS in Early Childhood Education and Elementary School Education and an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language. For the past 17 years, she has taught toddler classes, kindergarten, primary, secondary, tertiary, and adult education classes in the US, France, Japan, and Hong Kong. She was Academic Director of ELS at Dominican University of California where she acquired the practical skills of running an educational business, from an administration perspective. A mother of three energetic children, Jessica knows the challenges parents face in today’s society and is excited to get a chance to share with other parents what she has learned as both a teacher and a parent.
